Overview
We are looking for a Sr. BI Developer with strong experience designing and developing dashboards, data visualizations, and reports using Tableau and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have advanced ANSI-SQL skills, experience designing data models, integrating data from multiple sources, and transforming complex information into clear and actionable insights.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
- Analyze complex data sets and transform information into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making.
- Design and maintain data models that efficiently support dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions.
- Develop and optimize ANSI-SQL queries across different database platforms.
- Integrate and consume data from multiple sources, including databases, flat files, CSV files, Excel files, and other structured data sources.
- Consolidate and optimize multiple Tableau workbooks into unified and scalable reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across dashboards and reports.
- Apply data visualization best practices to improve usability, clarity, and user experience.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
- Optimize dashboards and reporting solutions to support large data volumes and ensure strong performance.
- Document data models, reporting processes, and BI solutions to facilitate maintenance and scalability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience developing dashboards, data visualizations, and reports in a BI environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI.
- Solid experience writing and optimizing ANSI-SQL queries using any database engine.
- Experience designing data models to support dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
- Experience integrating and consuming data from multiple sources, including databases, flat files, CSV files, and Excel files.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience consolidating and optimizing multiple Tableau workbooks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and the ability to create clear, intuitive, and effective dashboards.
- Experience working with large data volumes and applying performance optimization practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
